FORTNITE- INCREASE FPS, FIX LAG AND STUTTER FPS BOOST GUIDE Chapter 2 Season 3




Before Getting Started here's some Quick Info on Fortnite:


Fortnite Battle Royale is a free, 100-player PvP mode which was released on September 26, 2017. It can be played on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Mac and the Nintendo Switch. 

Fortnite system requirements (minimum)
CPU: Core i3 2.4 GHz
CPU SPEED: Info
RAM: 4 GB
OS: Windows 7/8/10 64-bit
VIDEO CARD: Intel HD 4000

Fortnite system requirements (recommend)
CPU: Core i5 2.8 GHz
CPU SPEED: Info
RAM: 8 GB
OS: Windows 7/8/10 64-bit
VIDEO CARD: Nvidia GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 equivalent DX11 GPU



So with all that aside here are the steps to reduce lag, increase fps, and fix lag and stutter in your Fortnite game for Season 13:

Tip: Disk Cleanup
  1. Open File Explorer, under Devices and drives, select the drive in which Fortnite is installed (usually it will be the C: drive).
  2. Right-click the drive > go to Properties  > Click Disk Cleanup.
  3. After the scan is complete, select all the check boxes and click OK.

Tip: Power Options
  1. Go to Control Panel search Power Options, and click on it.
  2. Under Preferred plans select High Performance.

Tip: Set the Priority for Fortnite
  1. After downloading the file and extracting it, go to the Priority Folder.
  2. Click on Set High Priority.
  3. Click OK when a pop-up box appears.

Tip: Additional Command Line for Fortnite
  1. Copy the Additional Command Line given in the FPS Boost Folder.
  2. Open Epic Games Launcher.
  3. Click on Settings.
  4. Scroll all the way to the end and click on the test which says "► FORTNITE".
  5. Click on Additional Command Line Arguments and paste the copied commands in the box.



Tip: Play in Stretched Resolution


Tip: Open TimerResolution


  1. Click on Maximum and minimize the program. 
  2. After you finish playing Fortnite, open the program and click on Default and exit the program.

Tip: Change your In-game Settings


  1. Set the Frame Rate Limit to Unlimited.
  2. Set the View Distance according to your pc, but for better gameplay experience I recommend to set it on far.
  3. Set Shadows, Anti-Analising, V-sync and Motion Blur to off.
  4. Set Textures, Effects, Post Processing to low.
